AA occupies four ARSA extremist terrorist armed camps in Buthidaung Township

On October 22, it was reported that Arkan Army had occupied four camps of ARSA extremist terrorist armed forces which strongly constructed in a mountain range (6.2 kilometres) north west of the village of Kayuchang (Muslim village) in Buthidaung Township.

In the statement, Arakan Army have hunted and cleared the place around Buthidaung and Maungdaw where ARSA, RSO, ARE the extremist terrorist and forces can hide and some Muslim armed forces trained and armed by the military, and it is said that these days there were clashes between Arakan Army and ARSA the terrorist armed forces in the mountain at a distance of (6.2 km) northwest of Khru Chaung (Muslim) village, Buthidaung Township at 12:10 PM on 19 October 2024.

After that, there have been five clashes between the two sides in those areas, and it is said that confiscated ARSA extremist terrorist armed forces were firmly encamped, weapons and ammunition provided by the terrorist military and some of the bodies of the armed forces of extremists.

And so, it is also said that the fleeing ARSA the terrorist armed forces and the Arakan Army clashed for a few minutes at a distance of (3.7 km) east of Gyinn Taw Camp, Maungdaw Township at 12:10 PM on October 22.

The terrorist armed groups, ARSA, RSO, ARA radical terrorist armed groups have built strong camps in the densely forested mountains and are hiding of Buthiduang and Maungdaw, and said that they are continuous violations like arresting civilians and taken away, terrorist killing, kidnapping, extortion.

In areas with dense forests and mountains, it is reported that armed groups like ARSA, RSO, and ARA, as well as military council forces, have been carrying out joint attacks against the Arakan Army in certain locations.

These actions have raised concerns not only about the threats posed by armed extremist groups within the Arakan region but also for civilians living on both sides of the Bangladesh-Arakan border. This situation is increasingly worrying for the local population and is seen as a new challenge to regional peace, stability, and public security.
