Today, August 25, marks the 8th anniversary of the massacre in which 113 Hindus living in Maungdaw Township were brutally killed by the militant group ARSA.



On August 25, 2017, the militant Muslim armed group ARSA carried out a massacre in the villages of Kha Maung Seik and Ye Baw Kya in Maungdaw Township, killing 113 Hindus, including women and children.
As the massacre reaches its 8th anniversary today, commemorative ceremonies were held in honor of those who lost their lives in the unjust killings.

According to reports, today’s commemoration was attended by family members of the 113 slain Hindus, along with Hindu religious committees, local administrative officials, and representatives of the ULA/AA.
